6:11-12 – He left mad, now he is trying to explain in a good light where he has been
Scripture Text: Song of Solomon 6:11-12
When I read about how much trouble they were having translating it and all the various translations that could be made I finally understood it.
He is trying to apologize for leaving and trying to explain where he was.
He is saying, I was mad and irritated, but I didn’t do anything dumb. Listen to a guy try to explain what he did after he went away mad. He will stumble and fumble with words even if he is telling the truth. If his explanation is real smooth – watch out. You might want to verify what he is saying.
The next passage is Song of Solomon 6:13-7:9.
