The enemy of great is good. People settle for good, or good enough because it is much easier than great. If you will settle for good, you may end up with ‘good enough’, ‘not so bad’, ‘could be worse’, or even ‘what was I thinking’. When you go for great thee is the chance of failure. The chance of ending up alone. But, there is also the possibility of great.
Imagine that you were born an eagle. But, you’ve settled for life with the turkeys. You all walk around together and hope to make it through each Thanksgiving. Wouldn’t it be sad to spend your life walking around when you could have learned to fly. If you are an eagle, learn how to soar with the eagles.
