verse 15
Behold, you are beautiful my darling companion.
Behold, you are beautiful your eyes are doves.
verses 16 -17
Behold, you are beautiful, my beloved.
Indeed, you are delightful, and our resting place is in the flourishing branches
The beams of our houses are cedars, our rafters cypresses.

They are up in the hills, flirting with each other. Notice the bed isn’t a bed in a house, but they are making references about their surroundings and comparing them to a roof and a bed. All of this fits with a couple feeling out where the other person stands, and doing it in a flirting tone. This way if you say too much you can back off a little.
